'Spiritual Spectacles' Prophet Fails to Appear in International Court

Prophet Tapiwa Freddy once more did not show up for a court appearance in his legal conflict with Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd concerning a residential property located in Kadoma.

The proceedings, initiated on February 7th, have faced seven delays owing to Freddy's nonappearance.

In 2016, Kudakwashe Taruberekera, who founded and leads Craft Properties, granted a residential plot to Freddy. However, in 2021, this donation was withdrawn because the specified conditions were not met.

Earlier this year, Freddy brought the issue to the attention of the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission, accusing them of corrupt practices during the revocation process.

"I cannot provide many details as this case is currently under judicial review," stated Taruberekera outside the courthouse on Friday.

We are disheartened by Prophet Tapiwa Freddy's ongoing failure to appear at the court hearings.

“This is a serious matter, and we expected all parties to show due respect to the legal process.

The case has been before the court since February 7, 2025, and has had seven hearings.

The court has not yet determined the actual accusation that Prophet Tapiwa Freddy is leveling against Craft Properties (Pvt) Ltd and me.

The case is currently before the Kadoma magistrate court, with the subsequent hearing set for June 2.

The dispute has raised questions about the enforcement of donor agreements in property transactions and the potential delays in resolution due to Freddy's absence.

Efforts to contact Freddy’s attorney, Jivas Mudimu, for comments failed as his telephone could not be reached.

NASCAR Clarifies Rules After Christopher Bell Stumbles in Wrong Pit Box

NASCAR has made a minor tweak to its regulations regarding entering another team’s pit box during stops, but this change serves mainly as an explanation rather than a significant alteration. Bell pulled out of his pit stall during Lap 108 for a tire change, but soon after, crew chief Adam Stevens noticed an issue with a loose wheel. Recognizing the problem promptly, Stevens instructed Bell to locate another team member’s pit area so that they could address and fix the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 20 vehicle effectively. This decision was made because a detached wheel while racing could lead to penalties for the tire changer and jackman lasting up to two weeks. After the race, Stevens mentioned that they had previously talked about such a situation and that he was aware it would result in a penalty only if they pitted outside their designated pit box. Stevens informed journalists following the event, "This topic isn’t new; we've addressed it previously....
